Fiona Flanagan came roaring out of New York in the mid-'80s, a powerhouse vocalist who could go toe-to-toe with any of the era's big-hair frontmen and win. She built her name on melodic hard rock with real bite — big hooks, bigger attitude, and a voice that cut clean through the wall of guitars. She's one of the great overlooked female rock singers of the decade, and this self-titled 1984 debut is where it all started.
