1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of steelvalleyrecords.shop and any order you place with Steel Valley Records. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Orders & contract

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We'll send an order confirmation email once payment succeeds, but a binding contract is only formed when we dispatch your order (or, for preorders and backorders, when we confirm it's ready to ship). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order — for example if an item is mispriced, unexpectedly out of stock, or we suspect fraud — in which case you'll receive a full refund.

3. Pricing & payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include any applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We make every effort to ensure prices and descriptions are accurate, but if we spot a genuine pricing error before dispatch, we'll contact you before proceeding.

4. Steel Shards loyalty program

Steel Shards are earned through purchases, account signup, reviews, and referrals as described on the Steel Shards page. Shards have no cash value, can't be transferred between accounts or exchanged for cash, and are redeemable only for discounts on future orders at the rate shown on that page. We may amend the earning rates, tier thresholds, or redemption rate going forward, but won't retroactively remove Shards you've already earned.

5. Gift cards

Gift cards are sold in the amount you choose, delivered by email, and don't expire. They're redeemable for goods on our site only, can't be exchanged for cash, and we can't replace a gift card if the code is lost, stolen, or shared with someone else — treat the code like cash.

6. Discount codes

Discount codes are subject to the expiry date and usage limit set when they were issued, and we may withdraw or refuse a code at our discretion if it's been misused. Only one discount code can be applied per order.

8. Reviews & user content

By submitting a review, you confirm it's honest and your own opinion. We may remove reviews that are abusive, spam, or unrelated to the product.

9. Liability

We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, postal disruption). Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
