Loverboy are a Canadian rock band formed in Calgary in 1979, quickly becoming one of the biggest arena-rock acts of the early '80s with their signature red leather trousers and headbands. Fronted by the distinctive vocals of Mike Reno and driven by guitarist Paul Dean, they scored a string of hits including 'Turn Me Loose,' 'Working for the Weekend,' and 'Hot Girls in Love.'

Originally released in 1987, 'Wildside' finds Loverboy leaning into a heavier, more polished melodic rock sound with plenty of high-gloss production. This Rock Candy reissue serves up remastered sound and revitalised presentation, giving tracks like 'Notorious' and the title cut a fresh airing for AOR and melodic rock fans.
