FM came out of the ashes of Wildlife in 1984 and set the gold standard for British melodic rock. Steve Overland's voice is one of the finest in the genre — soulful, powerful, and instantly recognisable — and the band pairs it with sharp songwriting and guitar work that never overstays its welcome.
