Gary Wright is an American singer, songwriter and keyboardist best known for his 1975 solo hits 'Dream Weaver' and 'Love Is Alive,' pioneering the use of synthesizers as a lead instrument in mainstream rock. Before his solo career he co-founded the British band Spooky Tooth in the late 1960s, and he maintained a long musical friendship and collaboration with George Harrison.
