St. Paradise were a short-lived American hard rock outfit formed by former Montrose bassist Bill Church and guitarist/vocalist Denny Carmassi's contemporaries in the late 1970s, most notably featuring the talents of guitarist and singer Randy Bishop alongside Church. The group drew on the muscular, blues-inflected hard rock sound that flourished on the West Coast in that era, delivering straightforward, guitar-driven material. Their tenure was brief, leaving behind a single self-titled album that has since become a point of interest for collectors of the period's rock.
