About the Artist

Whitesnake are a British hard rock band formed in 1978 by former Deep Purple vocalist David Coverdale. Rooted in blues-based hard rock, their sound blended soulful vocals with heavy riffs before shifting toward a more polished melodic rock direction in the late 1980s.
