Nymphs were an American rock band fronted by the charismatic and famously volatile vocalist Inger Lorre, emerging from the Los Angeles scene at the turn of the 1990s. Signed to Geffen amid considerable label expectation, the group cut a raw, confrontational figure that set them apart from many of their contemporaries.
Press
This self-titled debut pairs punkish urgency with a moody, atmospheric edge, its bruised melodicism carried by Lorre's arresting, uncompromising vocals across tracks like 'Sad And Damned' and 'Imitating Angels'. Often overlooked on release, it has since been reappraised as a raw and compelling document of its era.
