New England were a Boston-based melodic rock band who emerged in the late 1970s, blending polished harmonies, keyboard-driven arrangements, and hooky pop-rock songwriting. Their self-titled 1979 debut was produced by Paul Stanley of KISS alongside Mike Stone, and its lead single 'Don't Ever Wanna Lose Ya' remains their best-known track. Though their commercial breakthrough proved elusive, the band earned a devoted cult following among fans of AOR and melodic rock.
