SPYS emerged in the early 1980s from the ashes of Foreigner, formed by two founding members of that band, keyboardist Al Greenwood and bassist Ed Gagliardi. Their sound sits firmly in the melodic rock and AOR tradition, blending polished hooks and keyboard-driven arrangements with a harder rock edge.
